Here are the steps you need to follow to install an epoxied floor:

.Measure the area you want to cover and calculate the amount of epoxy that will be needed. You will need enough epoxy to fill up at least half of the space you plan on covering.

.Prepare the surface you will be installing the floor on by removing any old finishes or paint. Then, roughen up the surface with sandpaper or a coarse grit cloth. This will help the epoxy adhere better to the surface.

.Apply a thin layer of epoxy to the prepared surface using a brush or roller. Make sure to apply it evenly and cover all of the area you plan on covering. Allow the epoxy to set for at least two hours before continuing.

.Remove any excess epoxy using a scraping tool or a rag. Then, roughen up the surface again with sandpaper or a coarse cloth. This will help the floor bond to the surface better.

.Wipe off any excess epoxy with a clean rag or cloth and then apply additional coats of epoxy until you have covered all of the area you plan on covering. Allow the epoxy to set for at least 24 hours before moving on to the next step.
