Geissele Releases Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group (REBCG)

The Geissele REBCG was developed to provide enhanced reliability over the standard M16/M4 Military Rifle, 5.56mm FMJ, A3-A4 type rifle bolt carrier group for both semi-automatic and full-auto applications in the most demanding combat environments. The Geissele Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group (REBCG) is a new design in AR15/M4 bolt carrier groups. 

Geissele says that this design has been improved in terms of reliability and performance. In addition, the REBCG uses a new coating process that helps reduce friction and wear. Geissele REBCG features a number of enhancements, including an improved firing pin, lighter bolt, and improved extractor design. According to Geissele, these improvements result in a greater percentage of reliability when compared to standard bolt carriers. 

The Geissele Reliability Enhancement Bolt Carrier Group is available in both M-LOK and KeyMod variants and can be installed on any AR15 platform. A bolt carrier group, also known as a BCG, is the part of an AR-15 rifle that holds the firing pin and rotates with the barrel to chamber a round. A reliable BCG is essential to ensuring a consistent and safe firing experience.
